YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS AT BELLINGRATH GARDENS AND HOME

May 31, 2004 - Mobile, AL - Bellingrath Gardens and Home is celebrating the glory of summer with a series of programs featuring a variety of topics.  These programs include horticultural seminars to interpretive tours of the Boehm Gallery to a Kids Lunch Cruise aboard the Southern Belle River Cruiser.

All programs listed below are subject to Gardens admission for non-Bellingrath members and require a reservation to be booked by the Monday preceding the program:


  • July 14 - Boehm Porcelain - Interpretive tour of the Boehm Porcelain collection in the Delchamps Gallery.

  • July 21 - Kids Lunch Cruise - Kids of all ages will enjoy a fun filled trip down Fowl River with John Dindo from the Dauphin Island Estuarium and Sea Lab.  Box lunches may be pre-ordered.  (An additional fee of $10 will be charged for this program to cover the cruise and lunch.)

  • July 28 - Books at Bellingrath - Enjoy this special book sale in the Bellingrath Gift Shop and have your book signed by some of the author's.

  • August 18 - Poinsettias for Christmas - Learn how Bellingrath grows their lovely poinsettias and get your own cutting started.


Additional programs on Mrs. Bellingrath's Silver Collection, Magic Christmas in Lights and a special summer attic sale and Christmas preview are available to members of The Friends of Bellingrath.
