WKRG-TV Goes Green with Keep Mobile Beautiful

WKRG-TV has teamed up with Keep Mobile Beautiful to host a one day recycling event for the collection of used motor oil, filters and batteries. Anti-freeze and brake fluid may also be recycled. The event is for residential recyclers only. NO commercial materials will be accepted.The one day recycling event will be held in the parking lot of WKRG-TV located at 555 Broadcast Drive off Cottage Hill Road or Bel Air Boulevard on Saturday, May 12 from 9:00 A.M. till 12 noon only.
Partners for the event include Aaron Oil, Interstate Batteries, and Waste Management.
Through their Community Coverage promotion, WKRG TV continues to raise awareness for the proper disposal of used motor oil, filters and batteries.
Meteorologist Jere Hough is coordinating the event.
