WEEKS BAY PLANT SALE RESCHEDULED

Is your yard a disaster after Ivan?  Did you lose a few trees?  Well here is your answer!
 
Weeks Bay Reserve's eleventh annual Native Plant Sale, scheduled for October 8 - 10 has been rescheduled because of Hurricane Ivan.
 
The new dates are Fri, Sat, Sun, November 12, 13, and 14, from 8 am -  5 pm each day. The location will be the same as in past years, across Hwy 98 from the Reserve Interpretive Center, between Fairhope and Foley.
 
Container-grown native trees, shrubs, and perennials will be offered for sale at reasonable prices. All of the plants are interesting, many are quite beautiful, and some are rare in the wild and hard to find in cultivation. Plant experts will be on hand to answer questions and to assist with selections. All proceeds from the sale are used to support Weeks Bay Reserve activities.
