We Run Our Streets 5K Run/Walk - Updated w/ Route

The City of Mobile Weed and Seed Office and the Mobile Police Department are proud to present the Crichton and Toulminville We Run Our Streets 5K Run/Walk, to be held, Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. at Tricentennial Park (2121 Lake Drive).

The 5k Run/Walk will start at Tricentennial Park on Stanton Road and proceed to Springhill Avenue, from Springhill Avenue to Mobile Street, from Mobile Street to Dauphin Street, down Dauphin Street to Upham Street, from Upham Street back to Springhill Avenue, and Springhill Avenue to Stanton Road/Tricentennial Park

The We Run Our Streets 5k Run/Walk is a Community Empowerment initiative which provides a forum to let residents and businesses inform the public that this is their community and they take pride and responsibility for what happens in their community.

All proceeds from the Run/Walk will be used for beautification projects in the area of the 5k Run/Walk. The We Run Our Streets 5k Run/Walk will be an annual City of Mobile event.
