Urban Development Makes Life Easier for Builders

If you're a Builder or Contractor, Mobile's Urban Development Department is set to make your life a little easier. No longer will you have to drive downtown to pick up a Certificate of Occupancy or "C.O." Effective immediately, a Certificate of Occupancy may be picked up at the Urban Development Department's downtown office or West Mobile office located at 324 South University Blvd. When requesting a "C.O." , please designate the office where you want the "C.O." delivered. A courtesy call will be made to let you know when the "C.O." is ready for pick up.
