Upcoming City of Mobile Community Planning and Development Workshops

The City of Mobile’s Community Planning & Development Department (CPD) will hold two separate workshops soon. The first will be for contractors who currently are or would be interested in working with CPD. The second is for small businesses looking to secure capital funds.

First, the CPD is conducting a Contractor’s Workshop for all contractors who currently work with CPD and contractors who are interested in applying for Small Rehab homeowner projects. The workshop will provide new information regarding our process and procedures.

Raising Capital for Small Business

For Individuals and Small Businesses Owners interested in learning about the process of securing capital to start or expand their business with traditional and non-traditional financing.

Minority- and women-owned businesses are encouraged to participate. NEW START-UP businesses and EXISTING businesses will benefit from this workshop.
