The South Alabama Regional Planning Commission Open House

The South Alabama Regional Planning Commission (SARPC), on behalf of the City of Mobile will hold a series of open house meetings for a feasibility study for passenger ferry service on Mobile Bay and a transit connection between the Mobile Central Business and the regional airport. The study, which examines potential markets, routes and services for both types of passenger transit systems, will be completed in the spring. Meetings will be held: Wednesday, March 10 at the Fairhope Civic Center, 161 N. Section Street at 5:30; Thursday, March 11, at Mobile Government Plaza’s Multi-Purpose Room, 205 Government Street, at 11:30 a.m.; and at the Mobile Public Library, West Regional Branch, 555 Grelot Road, at 5:30 p.m. For more information call April Guthrie at 433-6541.
