The Mobile Tennis Center Economic Impact on Mobile

Mobile has the largest public facility to play tennis and teams around the country are taking notice. The Mobile Tennis Center has recently signed a 5 year contract with NAIA National Collegiate Tournament. This will help the City of Mobile and the Mobile Tennis Center.

The Mobile Tennis Center announced August 17, 2005 that in the fiscal year of 2005 the tennis center brought a $15 million economic impact with the tournaments, hotel rooms, travel, and food from the tournaments. This is outstanding and they only hope to improve. The Mobile Tennis Center is now in the final five for the USTA Southern Adult Sectional Tournament that will be voted on in October. This is one of the world's largest tournaments and by itself it brigns a economic impact of $13 million.
