The LoDa ArtWalk Hosts Free Movie in Cathedral Square

The Neighborhood & Community Services Department will join two programs, the LoDa ArtWalk and Friday Night Flicks on Friday, December 11th in Cathedral Square from 7:00 p.m. until 9 p.m. with the showing of “A Christmas Story” during the monthly art hop. The film screen and sound system accommodate up to 250 people at one time and we invite the public to bundle up, bring a friend, a chair and a blanket and enjoy the holiday movie after strolling in over 20 ArtWalk venues. In case of rain the movie will be shown on the 3rd floor auditorium of Space 301 at 301 Conti Street.

The event is family friendly, free, open to the public and runs from 6 until 9 p.m. Maps of all participating venues and their featured artists can be picked up at Space 301, The Mobile Arts Council and Cathedral Square Art Gallery. For more information, please call: 208-7540.
