The Japanese Get a Taste of Mobile Food

Once in town, the goodwill delegation from Ichihara, Japan had to eat. We took them to Wintzell's for all the seafood they could eat. They had a variety of items to try such as fried crab claws, fried oysters, fried shrimp and baked grouper. Mayor Sukama was pleased to be joined by Mike Dow, former Mayor of Mobile. Dow had traveled there with the City of Mobile several times. The Ichihara group even tried bananna pudding for dessert.
