The Japanese Delegation Tour Mobile

On Friday, March 24, 2006, Mayor Sakuma and the japanese delegation visited Government Plaza to see where our local government takes place. They visited the City Council chambers and Mayor Jones office. After visiting Government Plaza the group took a bus tour of downtown and historic Mobile. The group loved to see Fort Condi, Oakliegh Historic Home, Bragg-Mitchell Mansion and the USS Alabama Battleship. After the tour, we wantd to take the Japanese shopping and they chose Wal-Mart for shopping. The group loved the fact of everything in one place.
