Temporary Sales Tax Increase Goes into Effect June 1

The temporary sales tax increase approved last month by the Mobile City Council will go into effect on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. it will expire September 30, 2011. As a general rule, sales taxes will see a 1% increase from 9 to 10%. For more details and to see the full ordinance, CLICK HERE.
