STATEMENT FROM MAYOR SANDY STIMPSON - Mobile Housing Authority

Mobile, Ala. -- Mayor Stimpson released the following statement regarding the Mobile Housing Authority.

"We are working closely with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Mobile Housing Board to ensure that the Mobile Housing Authority is taking corrective steps on its management of federal funds. We are confident that with the recently announced management changes, the board will successfully implement long-needed reforms on behalf of our citizens. I am grateful for the board's willingness to serve at such a critical time and place of need for our community. We share a responsibility and a commitment to making sure our low-income families have access to quality, affordable housing."
