Spring Hill College Senior Nursing Students Sponsor Fall Health Fair

MOBILE, Ala. - Spring Hill College senior nursing students will sponsor their annual fall Health Fair Thursday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Louise Moorer Commons of the College's Campus Center. The event is open to local residents of all ages who want information about their personal health or health-related topics such as stress management and nutrition.

Along with nursing students, local health organizations will be on hand to offer free services such as hearing exams, eye exams, oxygen saturation tests, body fat percentage measurements, blood pressure screenings, glucose checks and much more. Cholesterol screenings will be available for $3.

Held each year, the Health Fair allows College nursing students to use practical skills, educate their peers and the community and provide local residents with information about their health and its importance.
