Spring Hill College Preview Summer Orientation Sessions Open to Freshmen and Their Parents

May 17th, 2005

Mobile, Ala. - Spring Hill College will host the first of three Preview summer orientation sessions Friday, June 17 and Saturday, June 18, on the College campus. The two-day, one-night event is open to incoming freshmen and will feature separate orientation tracks for freshmen and their parents, including student and administrative-led panel discussions, tours of campus, academic advising sessions and various events to help students get acquainted with their new classmates.

Additional Preview orientation weekends will be held June 24-25 and July 8-9. Freshman Preview sessions are limited to 115 students each and there is a $85 fee for each parent attending.

In addition to freshman orientation, Preview sessions will be held for transfer students on May 20 and July 25. The one-day sessions will introduce transfer students to campus and assist them with class registration and academic advising.

While Preview sessions are open to incoming freshmen, it’s not too late for students to apply to Spring Hill for the fall semester and join a Preview session. Financial aid is still available for this fall. To register for a Preview session, call 251-380-3027 or email preview@shc.edu.
