Sprayground Opens at Lake Drive Tricentennial Park

As the temperature rises, children in Mobile are getting a great new way to cool down. Mobile City Councilman Fred Richardson was joined by dozens of youngsters at the opening of the new SprayGround equipment at Lake Drive Tricentennial Park.

SprayGround equipment is a cool new way to have fun with water on a hot summer day. Children walk along a plank, while getting sprayed by water cannons, geysers, fountains, water buckets and rainbow-makers.

Everyone in the community is invited to come out everyday this summer. The SprayGround area is open anytime the park is open, and closes at sundown.
