Special Meeting for Navco Road Bridge Replacement Scheduled

The City of Mobile will hold a special Community Meeting for residents in and around the Navco Road area on Monday, May 21, 2007, at the Morningside Elementary School (2700 S. Greenbrier Drive). The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The topic of discussion will be the Navco Road Bridge Replacement Project and the detour that will be necessary for its completion. City representatives will be in attendance to answer citizens’ questions and concerns. Representatives from Traffic Engineering, Mobile Fire-Rescue Department, and the Police Department will also be on hand.

Within a few months the City of Mobile will begin work on the removal and replacement of the bridge in Navco Road at Bolton’s Branch just south of McVay Drive. A detour route has been established utilizing Morningside Drive and Greenbrier Drive with access to Halls Mill Road.
