Shelton Beach Road Closure

Shelton Beach Rd. is now closed south of Bear Fork Rd. City crews will repair the broken line running under the road. Traffic is restricted from driving on the road at this location because of the void under the street.

The repair will be completed no earlier than tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday, July 14, 2009). Another press release will be issued when the repair is made.

The northbound detour route begins at westbound Moffett Road at Shelton Beach Road to northbound University Blvd. and then to eastbound Bear fork Road.

Traffic on southbound Shelton Beach Road will follow the same route as listed above, in reverse order.
