Second Annual Silver Classic 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

Come Join The Fun! The Mobile Regional Senior Community Center (MRSCC) Foundation will host the Second Annual Silver Classic 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday April 17th at the Senior Center at 3201 Hillcrest Road.

A health fair, line dancing, food, prizes and gift bags with plenty of goodies will be available for walkers and runners. Participants may register for this event at McCoy Outdoor, go online (www.active.com), or register the day of the race.

All proceeds will be used to enhance programs that encourage health, fitness, and recreation for seniors. In one year, the center has provided over 4,500 free memberships and sees approximately 380 participants daily in programs. In a typical month, the Center offers over 70 classes in addition to the fitness gym, billiards, table tennis and the thermal pool, and the demand for programs and equipment is growing.
