RONALD McDONALD HOUSE® OF MOBILE ELECTS SIX NEW MEMBERS TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

MOBILE -- Six new members have been elected to the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile, Inc. (RMHC), effective January 1, 2004. RMHC operates the Ronald McDonald House of Mobile.

Elected for three-year terms, expiring in December 2006, are Robert Brazier, general manager of the Arthur C. Outlaw Convention Center; Carey Golden, sales manager of WALA-TV Fox 10; Deborah Hembree, attorney in the law offices of Adams and Reese; Carol Hunter, community volunteer and public relations consultant at MDi - media group; and Philip Kaiser, retired president of Gayfer's Department Stores. Elected to a one-year term is Michael Crowley, field service supervisor of McDonald's Corporation.

Also re-elected for another term on the Board are E. Harmon "Andy" Anderson, Jr., retired executive; Brady Berglin, dietician for Children's Rehabilitation Services; Dr. Judy V. Blair-Elortegui, pediatric physician at USA Children's and Women's Hospital and USA Springhill Campus; J. Kenny Crow, Jr., C.P.A., managing partner in the accounting firm of Crow, Shields & Bailey PC; Becky DeVillier, associate administrator and chief operations officer of USA Children's and Women's Hospital; and Al Tenhundfeld, Jr., senior vice president of ACO Information Services.

Located at 1626 Springhill Ave. near USA Children's and Women's Hospital and the Mobile Infirmary Medical Center, the Ronald McDonald House is a temporary home-away-from-home for families whose children are receiving treatment for serious illnesses, injuries or birth defects at any Mobile area hospital. The House has welcomed more than 1,100 families since it opened its doors in February 2000.
