Regional Community Meeting Tonight - District Meetings This Thursday

Mayor Sam Jones will hold his third Regional Community Meeting, Simply About Mobile, tonight, November 28, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. at Gilliard Elementary School (2757 Dauphin Island Parkway). The main topics of discussion will be Mobile 311, Mobile CitiSmart and law enforcement initiatives. This meeting is for residents of Districts 3 and 4.

Also this week, two council members will hold district meetings. On Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 7 p.m. Councilwoman Connie Hudson will hold a District 6 meeting at Christ United Methodist Church (6101 Grelot Road). Also Thursday at 7, Councilman Fred Richardson will hold a District 1, Beat 41 community meeting at Forest Hill Elementary School (4501 Moffett Road).

The Mayor's final regional community meeting will be Monday, December 11, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. at Shaw High School. This meeting is for citizens living in District 7.
