Reception Held at Carnival Museum for Mayor Sakuma and Goodwill Delegation

Mayor Sakuma and the Ichihara Goodwill Delegation were treated to a reception at the Carnival Museum on Friday, March 24, 2006. Mayor Jones, Council President Reggie Copeland, Council Vice President Fred Richardson and Connie Hudson welcomed Mayor Sakuma and the delegation to town. The Carnival Museum gave tours for the group so that the Japanese would be able to learn what Mardi Gras is about and the history. The delegation loved to meet the city officals and visit with them to discuss the Sister City.
