Public Meeting to be held for Broad Street Beautification

The Alabama Department of Transportation and City of Mobile will hold an informal Corridor/Design Hearing for the proposed improvements of Broad Street from Baltimore Street to Water Street. The proposed construction will include beautification and traffic calming.

The public meeting will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2007, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce Building located at 451 Government Street, Mobile, AL. Anyone interested in attending may come in at any time during the meeting and view the proposals for the project. Representatives from ALDOT and the City of Mobile, as wells as consultant personnel, will be at the meeting.

All interested citizens are invited to attend and give their views and comments regarding the proposed project.
