Public Invited to Helen W. Wood Park Dedication

The public is invited as the City of Mobile proudly honors one of its greatest philanthropists at the dedication ceremony for Helen W. Wood Park on Thursday, August 3, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Helen W. Wood Park is located on Mobile Bay, off Dauphin Island Parkway next to the Mobile Yacht Club.

Helen W. Wood will be present as we give thanks for her generous donation of waterfront property. A boardwalk, pavilion and restrooms are available for the public to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mobile Bay.
