Proclamations: Volunteer Week, Public Safety Communications Week

Mayor's Chief of Staff Al Stokes presented two proclamations at the Council Meeting on Tuesday, April 14. First, he presented a certificate honoring telecommunications professionals in the Police and Fire-Rescue Departments. This is National Public Safety Communications Week, and the City of Mobile is blessed to have an entire staff of great communications specialists.

Also, Chief Stokes recognized National Volunteer Week. Representatives from Covenant Hospice accepted the proclamation on behalf of the many volunteers who serve our community.
