Proclamations: Officer of the Month, National Philanthropy Day

Mayor Sam Jones recognized Bradley Latham as October’s Officer of the Mobile. His service to the citizens of Mobile went above and beyond the call of duty. But this is nothing new for Officer Latham – this is the second time in as many years that he has been selected as Officer of the Month. Mayor Jones offered a special thanks since his street falls on Officer Latham’s beat.

Also acknowledged was National Philanthropy Day. Lynne Price and Margaret Coley from the Alabama Gulf Coast Chapter of the Association for Fundraising Professionals accepted the proclamation. National Philanthropy Day recognizes the contributions of volunteers and other philanthropic efforts.
