Proclamations: Live Well Mobile, Officer of the Month

Mayor Sam Jones issued two proclamations at the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, June 10, 2008.

First Via! Senior Citizen Solutions was honored for their Live Well Mobile campaign, which promotes active aging and improves awareness about healthy lifestyle practices to meet the needs of a new generation of seniors. Adam Bell, program coordinator for Live Well Mobile accepted the proclamation.

Also, Officer Theodore Johnson was recognized as May’s Officer of the Month. Officer Johnson was commended for his work to keep Mobile safe, including arrests that led to 4 pounds of marijuana, 20 pieces of crack cocaine, and 4 ecstasy pills being taken off the street.
