Proclamation: Dr. Raymond Wynn

Councilman Fred Richardson presented a proclamation to Dr. Raymond Wynn who was recently selected to Chair the Alabama Comprehensive Cancer Control Coalition (ACCCC), whose mission is to develop and sustain an integrated and coordinated approach to reducing cancer incidence, morbidity and mortality as well as seeking to improve the quality of life and care for cancer patients, their families and their caregivers.

Dr. Wynn, holds several academic and administrative positions at the University of South Alabama including Associate Director for Community Outreach, Associate Professor of Interdisciplinary Clinical Oncology and Radiology, Chief of Radiation Oncology, and Director of Public Education & Health Disparities Research at the Mitchell Cancer Institute.
