Plantings to Replace Trees Lost During Hurricane Katrina

Mobile City Councilman Fred Richardson and the City of Mobile Urban Forestry Department will plant 12 Live Oak Trees along Stanton Road, between Oak Knoll and Tonlours Drives on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 8 a.m.The trees are the result of a grant from the USDA Forest Service and the Mobile Tree Commission to plant trees to replace those that were blown away by Hurricane Katrina.
