Parkway SAIL Center to Open

Resources for south Mobile’s aging population are growing as they celebrate the opening of the Parkway SAIL (Senior Activities for Independent Living) Center on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. The public is invited to attend the festivities that include exhibits, entertainment, and food.

The center is located at 1760 Riverside Drive at the Way of Life Community Church building – take Clubhouse Road from Dauphin Island Parkway to Riverside Drive.

The Parkway Sail Center is sponsored by Mobile City Councilman John Williams, Mobile County Commissioner Mike Dean, the City of Mobile Parks and Recreation Department, and the Area Agency on Aging of the South Alabama Regional Planning Commission.
