One Night - Two Community Meetings

Mobile City Councilmembers Fred Richardson and Gina Gregory will hold separate community meetings next week. Councilman Richardson will hold a District One, Beats 33 & 34 Community Meeting on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at the Toulminville Library Branch (601 Stanton Road) starting at 7:00 p.m. Employment opportunities will head the list of topics to be discussed.

Also on the 26th, Councilwoman Gregory will hold a District Seven Community Meeting at Mobile Botanical Gardens (5151 Museum Drive), starting at 6:30 p.m. July 26 is also the last day of the Farmer’s Market on the Hill held at the Mobile Museum of Art grounds. The museum is offering free admission between 5 - 7 p.m. on that date. The market will feature locally produced fruit, vegetables, breads, plants, handcrafted goods and more.

City department heads will be in attendance at both meetings. Citizens in the respective areas are encouraged to attend.
