OLD SHELL ROAD RESURFACING

Please be advised that resurfacing (Old Shell Rd. from White's Lane to University Blvd.) is tentatively scheduled to begin Monday, January 11th. Work hours (allowable lane closures) will be M-F 8:30 am - 2:30 pm, Sat/Sun no restrictions. We have encouraged the contractor to perform as much work as possible on the weekend. Lane closures will be accomplished with flag men and traffic will be flagged around the paving operation. Travel delays should be expected.

It is expected that the main line (Old Shell Rd.) work will take 6-8 full days, intersecting streets and the intersection of University/Old Shell will take longer. Additionally, we have requested that the contractor place variable message boards at the beginning/ending of the project to help with driver notification.

During this work please try to find alternate routes and be patient. All businesses will have full access to Old Shell Rd. except when paving operations are immediately in front of their drive.
