New Year's Eve Celebration

MOBILE- Ring in the New Year with a concert and spectacular fireworks show sponsored by the City of Mobile. The celebration begins at 10:00 p.m. Friday, December 31st at Cooper Riverside Park, 1 South Water Street, between the Arthur R. Outlaw-Mobile Convention Center and the Mobile Alabama Cruise Terminal.

The event is free to the public and will feature the local band Emerge. Emerge has a Motown sound with backgrounds enriched in gospel, soul, hip hop, R&B, Rock & Roll and traditional blues that brings a great mixture of musicians together with a extensive play list that all will enjoy. Emerge will kick off the party at 10 p.m.

Fireworks begin at midnight, to welcome 2005. Come early, get a prime spot to watch the show and hear great music. Join us at Cooper Riverside Park to start the New Year with family, friends, music and fun.
