New USA National Alumni Association Scholarships Available

The University of South Alabama National Alumni Association is pleased to announce two new scholarships. The deadline for both scholarships is Thursday, Dec. 9. Applications are available at: www.southalabama.edu/alumni/downloadforms.htm

Graduate Student Scholarship
For the Graduate Student Scholarship, academics and leadership will both be considered. The scholarship is a $1,000 tuition fee waiver. The scholarship will be disbursed in one installment beginning spring semester 2005.
The recipient must be admitted to a master's degree program at USA, as either a part-time or full-time student. He or she must be in good academic standing with the Graduate College and must have received an undergraduate degree from USA with a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average. The recipient must be a dues-paying, active status member of the USA National Alumni Association at the time of scholarship application submission.
All completed applications will be reviewed by the Alumni Scholarship Selection Committee. The recipient will be notified immediately.

Children of Alumni Scholarship
The USA National Alumni Association is pleased to announce an additional Children of Alumni Scholarship for spring 2005. Academics, activities and leadership are considered in awarding the scholarship.
The scholarship is a one-time $1,000 tuition fee waiver for spring semester 2005. The scholarship will be disbursed in one installment beginning spring semester 2005. The recipient must be a full-time sophomore, junior or senior at USA with a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average. The student must have completed 24 semester hours at USA. The parent or guardian must be a dues-paying, active status member of the USA National Alumni Association at the time of scholarship application submission.
All completed applications will be reviewed by the Alumni Scholarship Selection Committee. The recipient will be notified immediately.
