New Municipal Judges Take Their Robes

Four new Municipal Judges donned their robes for the first time at a ceremony in Government Plaza’s Auditorium on Wednesday, September 27, 2006. The two full-time judges, A. Holmes Whiddon and Shelbonnie Coleman Hall and the two part-time judges, Matthew Green and Rose McPhillips were unanimously selected by the City Council to fill the positions.

At the ceremony, each judge thanked their family, friends and other loved ones for the support, mentoring and inspiration each had given. Each will take the bench for the first time on October 1.
