Dec 2nd, 2008

The Museum Drive bridge that crosses Twelve Mile Creek in Langan Park (MAP) will reopen to motorists on Friday, December 6, 2008 at 7 a.m. The bridge was closed in late September 2007 when it was determined that it needed to be replaced.

The bridge is used primarily by motorists traveling to the Mobile Botanical Gardens, the Mobile Museum of Art, the Copeland-Cox Mobile Tennis Center, and the Azalea City Golf Course.

Peavy Construction put in the new bridge at a cost of $504,423.
