Mobilian of the Year

Five outstanding men and women have been nominated as the 2003 Mobilian of the Year.

This year's nominees for the Civitan Club of Mobile's annual award includes: Sonny Callahan, former U.S. Congressman; Vivian Davis Figures, Alabama State Senator; Gerald Friedlander, owner Mobile Rug and Shade; Gordon Moulton, President University of South Alabama; John Tyson, Jr., Mobile County District Attorney.

The winner will be announced at a banquet, Thursday, April 24, 2003 at the Marriott Hotel on Airport Blvd.
