Mobile Welcomes Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Winter Residents on January 12, 2005

Jan 6th, 2005

The Mobile Bay tourism community will host the fourth annual "Meet Mobile Bay Day" for all winter residents of the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area. This informative and entertaining affair will be held on January 12, 2004 during the hours of 2-4:00pm at the Eric H. Meyer Civic Center in Gulf Shores.

The successful showcase of attractions and events in the Mobile Bay area annually draws an attendance of over 450 winter residents. This year’s "Meet Mobile Bay Day" is especially significant. The winter residents need to know that Hurricane Ivan has not prevented Mobile Bay from welcoming and entertaining visitors.

Win prizes, enjoy the refreshments and listen to some good music. Learn about the USS ALABAMA, historic home museums, Festival of Flowers, the Mobile Opera, the Mobile Museum of Art and much more. See costumed characters representing the attractions and time periods of this historic southern city. Discover Bellingrath Gardens, the Gulf Coast Exploreum and Science Center, and the excitement of America’s Family Mardi Gras.

Prizes, live entertainment, refreshments and a great opportunity to meet the good folks from Mobile Bay who will tell you all about the exciting events planned for the next couple of months. All of this and much more is available for FREE at "Meet Mobile Day" on January 12.
