Mobile Recognized Nationally as Best for Company Creation

The City of Mobile has earned high praise from Entrepreneur magazine as the top midsize city in America to start and grow a business. In its current issue, the magazine said Mobile is the best midsize city based on the number of “young companies” – those created between 4 and 14 years ago with more than 5 employees – and the amount of growth being developed at established companies.

The State of Alabama was ranked 3rd in the nation for company creation. Other cities from around the state recognized include:

Birmingham – 3rd Midsize City
Auburn-Opelika – 1st Small City
Huntsville – 5th Small City
Dothan – 9th Small City
Gadsden – 19th Small City
Tuscaloosa – 23rd Small City
Montgomery – 25th Small City
