Mobile Police to Hold Crichton Community Meeting

A Crichton Community Action Group Informational Meeting will be held Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. at The Dumas Wesley Center, 126 Mobile St. The purpose of the meeting, facilitated by Sgt. John Sylvester, Third Precinct Enhanced Neighborhood Policing Officer, is to educate residents and business owners in the Crichton community on how to develop a Community Action Group in their neighborhood.

More than 75 Community Action Groups in the City of Mobile work closely with the Mobile Police Department to address current trends and deter future crime in their communities. For more information, call 470-7744.
