Mobile Police Officer Earns Highly Regarded Certification

Mobile Police Department Crime Scene Investigator Lieutenant Joe Rose recently became the second Alabamian to graduate from the National Forensic Academy at the University of Tennessee. The intensive 10-week training program included 170 hours of classroom coursework and 230 hours of field practicum.

Lt. Rose also earned the highest level of recognition through the International Association for Identification…Certified Senior Crime Scene Analyst (CSCSA). He is one of only five Alabamians to hold such certification.

A 24-year veteran of the Mobile Police Department, Lt. Rose has been a Crime Scene Investigator for 13 years.
