Mobile Police Host Public Safety Memorial Service

The annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service was held Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Public Safety Park in Mobile. The purpose of the event is to recognize and remember retired officers who died in 2012 as well as Law Enforcement and Coast Guard personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty.

Honor guards from the Mobile Police Department, Mobile County Sheriff’s Office and the Saraland Police Department presented and a 21-Gun Salute and Taps was also performed.

The event was sponsored by the Mobile Police Department and Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Chaplain’s Office.
