This week celebrates Mobile Opera’s 58th Anniversary Season. Recognized as the 15th opera company established in the United States and Alabama’s oldest performing arts organization, Mobile Opera opens its season on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. with Scott & Sarah @ the Saenger. Mobile’s premier performing arts couple are joined by Mobile natives Lauren Zoghby and Chauncey Packer in an enjoyable evening of familiar selections from opera, operetta and broadway.
