Mobile Continues Its Momentum on the World Stage at the Paris Air Show

Mayor Sam Jones, along with City Council Vice President Fred Richardson and City Attorney Larry Wettermark, will be attending the Paris Air Show to continue the city’s effort to recruit aerospace suppliers. Some of the group will begin their travels today, while others will leave on Saturday.

“Mobile has been on a high since the groundbreaking of Airbus,” said the mayor. “Our goal is to maximize every opportunity to recruit more suppliers to Mobile, so we can create high paying jobs for citizens to effect positive changes in our economy.”

Mayor Jones has scheduled numerous meetings with aerospace suppliers who are attending the Air Show.
