Mobile City Council Public Services Committee to Meet

The Public Services Committee of the Mobile City Council will hold a meeting on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the Council office conference room. The topics of discussion are:

· The Brownfields Cleanup State Revolving fund from Alabama Department of Environmental Management to receive $200,000 that will assist the City with entering into the voluntary clean up program/remediation of the contamination of property at the intersection of St. Stephens Rd. and St. Charles Ave. in Council District 2;

· Amending the existing City ordinance to require all haulers of brown grease to deliver it to the new Mobile Area Water & Sewer System’s brown grease treatment facility.
