Mobile Animal Shelter a Finalist for Grant

The Friends of the Mobile Animal Shelter (FOMAS) is excited to announce that out of thousands of nominations from across the country, our organization has been chosen as a Top Ten Finalist in AOL’s Giving Good Program!

There are three $10,000 Giving Good grants available. Distribution of the $10,000 will be determined by number of votes received. Voting is open to the public. Individuals may cast one vote per day until December 31, 2011.

The $10,000 grant will go toward the Kennel Building Fund. FOMAS is currently in the process of raising funds to build a much needed additional structure on-site at the City of Mobile Animal Shelter.
