Mill Street Park Opens in Crichton

Mobile City Council Vice-President Fredrick Richardson joined several kids from the Crichton Community in dedicating Mill Street Park. The park, which includes several jungle gyms, slides, swings and benches, is needed because kids in the area have few other options for entertainment.

“Several members of this neighborhood came to me at our community meetings, and asked me if I could get this park done,” said Richardson. “Well, we did it. And I couldn’t be more proud.”

Councilman Richardson also announced possible future additions to the park including a pavilion and a basketball court. The park is open to the public, and closes at sundown.
