Mayor Dow recently addressed the issue of parking with downtown merchants. Mayor Dow said one-hour free parking on Dauphin Street would become two-hour free parking. He also said there would be free on-street parking with no time limits all over downtown March 3 and March 4 --- Lundi Gras and Fat Tuesday. Mayor Dow will continue studying parking issues to make a final decision.
