McGregor Ave. reopened from Springhill Ave. to Old Shell Road 

Mobile, Ala. — After several months of construction, McGregor Ave. has officially reopened to traffic from Springhill Ave. to Old Shell Road.

As part of the City of Mobile's N. McGregor Project, new sidewalks, lighting, curbs and gutters have been installed, and the road has been resurfaced. At 4 p.m. today, McGregor Ave. from the roundabout at Museum Drive to Old Shell Road officially reopened to traffic several months ahead of schedule.

Motorists will see some temporary lane closures in the coming weeks as contractors make final improvements and repairs. However, with much of the work now completed, the roadway will remain open to traffic moving forward. We appreciate Mobilians' patience and the cooperation of nearby businesses and residents throughout this important infrastructure project.
