Dec 18th, 2014

Due to forecast of rain, the location will be moved to the north side of Government Plaza alongside Government Street.

MOBILE, Ala. - Mayor Sandy Stimpson will host the City of Mobile's very first Food Truck Friday in Bienville Square on Friday, December 19 from 11am to 2pm.

There will be a wide variation of food trucks including Geaux Boy, Kona Ice, Conecuh Charlie's, Old 27 Grill Crawfish Wagon, Pita Pit, Joe’s Soul Kitchen and more. The city will provide café style tables and chairs, so everyone can enjoy their lunch in the park.

The Food Bank and the Salvation Army will also be present at the event and will be collecting canned goods and other donations.

"I want to invite all of the citizens of Mobile to this special holiday event," said Mayor Stimpson. "I hope everyone enjoys food truck fine dining but more importantly helps donate to those in need for the holidays."
